Overview

AutoCare Log is a personal tool for recording vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel and charging history, and related expenses. We do not operate a social network, matching service, chat, or public profile system.

Information we collect

• Maintenance records you create: dates, mileage, service type, item names, costs, notes, and optional photos of receipts or service documents. • Vehicle profiles you add: name, model, mileage, and optional vehicle photos. • To-do items you create for upcoming maintenance tasks. • A local guest profile when you sign in with one tap (a display name such as Guest 4821 and an anonymous device-local identifier). We do not require Apple Sign In or collect your Apple ID. • Purchase history for consumable Points packs, processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect location, contacts, or social graph data.

How data is stored

Your records, vehicles, to-do items, Points balance, and guest profile are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your maintenance data to our servers unless you explicitly use a future sync feature we announce separately.

Device permissions

• Camera — to photograph maintenance receipts or service documents when you choose to attach photos. • Photo library — to import existing maintenance photos. • Microphone — only if you choose to record an optional voice note (when available). Permissions are requested when you use the related feature, not at app launch. You can revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings → AutoCare Log.

App Tracking Transparency

After you sign in and reach the main app, iOS may show a system App Tracking Transparency dialog. If you allow tracking, we may use your device's advertising identifier to understand which features—maintenance logging, expense statistics, and Points tools—are used most, so we can improve the app. Your maintenance records are never sold or used for ads or social matching. You can change this choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Third parties

Apple processes App Store payments for consumable Points packs (six tiers: com.autocare.log.lv1 through lv6). We do not sell your personal maintenance data to third parties.

Children

AutoCare Log is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

• Me → Clear data — removes your records and restores sample data while you stay signed in. • Me → Log out — ends your session; your local records and Points remain on this device. • Me → Delete account — removes your guest profile and wipes all local records, vehicles, to-do items, and Points balance. • Uninstalling the app removes local data from your device. • Deleted maintenance records may be kept in the in-app recycle bin for a limited time before permanent removal.
